“I wanted to utilize my process knowledge in a global project such as ABB Way Finance Transformation Program (FTP) and learn about a different work model.” says Kamil.
His responsibilities include supporting local delivery teams in their daily work before and after “SAP4/HANA Go Live,” and implementing innovative solutions related to process design, errors, and technical problems. Kamil is also a part of a group of trainers from the Order to Cash process, conducting training sessions for ABB employees worldwide.
The transition from a people leader to an SME role in a Process Excellence Team for Accounts Receivables was also a great opportunity to reflect on what motivates Kamil at work and brings him real pleasure. Kamil mentions, “It was a good moment to expand my duties, including volunteering in the local Employee Resource Group known as Poland Encompass Pride. This group represents employees from the LGBTQ+ community and their allies. Their activities focus on education, community support, improving the visibility of the community in the Polish branches of the company, and lobbying on behalf of our group.” Kamil became its President and adds, “It gives me immense joy and teaches me new skills. As an example of our Poland Encompass Pride work, Pride Month 2024 gathered hundreds of people who listened and actively participated in our initiatives.”
Kamil is also a proud ABB Talent Ambassador, having participated in job fairs.
“ABB offers me many development opportunities, as well as interesting interactions with people from all over the world,” he says.
