ABB Germany and Special Olympics Germany

Since 2000, ABB has been a Premium Partner of Special Olympics Germany. Special Olympics (global) is the world’s largest sports movement for people with intellectual disabilities and multiple disabilities. Its goal is to provide athletes with greater recognition, joy in life, and self-confidence through sports. More than 3,500 employees have already volunteered in the organization of numerous sporting events. In return, they have gained a great deal themselves: warmth, openness, and a new perspective on familiar things.

Ever since 2015, ABB Finland and Women in Tech have been working together towards a shared goal: to promote diversity and inclusion within the technology sector. This collaboration aims to support and encourage women in their tech career paths and create a more inclusive environment.

ABB and SWE

SWE is a global organization which strives to empower women in their careers as engineers and leaders while demonstrating the value that diversity and inclusion (D&I) provides to engineering and technology professions. ABB is proud to be a part of SWE’s Corporate Partnership Council (CPC), which annually sponsors over 120 employees with global SWE memberships, and subsequently supports SWE’s mission towards gender parity in the workplace, a goal that aligns closely with ABB’s own D&I strategy.
