ABB Discovery Training Program is 18 months long and you will get the possibility to do three assignments, where you will create real value and explore all that is ABB. The program is driven by our different divisions, so you will belong to one of them, but have the opportunity to explore other areas during the program. You will get hands-on responsibility from day one and rapidly build your skills, broaden your network and find the perfect fit for you. Want to step out of your comfort zone? Or dig into your biggest passions? You can do both!
We offer:
18 months long program.
Full time, permanent employment from day one.
6 months long international assignment.
Internal ABB visits, customer visits and trainings.
Broad network through activities together with the other ABB Discovery Graduates and other social events.
An experienced mentor will be accessible throughout the entire trainee program to provide support and guidance.
During the program you will do 3 assignments of your own choosing, each lasting 6 months, where you get the opportunity to create real value and learn about our various products and services. The assignments are usually specific projects that you take ownership and responsibility for.
A key part of the ABB Discovery experience are the training and personal development opportunities. You will be offered a variety of trainings and workshops that will prepare you for your future career.
Througout the length of the program, you will have a senior ABB employee as a mentor. Mentoring means to have a mutually beneficial relationship between the mentee and the mentor, that is defined by the mentee and the mentor, depending on individual preferences and needs.
— Who are you?
Master's degree in engineering or a related discipline (studies must be completed before the start of the program).
No more than three years of professional experience in your field of study before the start date.
Excellent knowledge of English, advanced German skills are a plus.
Authorization to work in Switzerland is required (at least B permit).
