Private Medical Insurance 

​​​​​​Private Healthcare will be provided for employee and family at the Company’s expense up to 1730€ gross per year and as per the healthcare defined plans and provider.

24 days’ paid holiday per year, plus all statutory and public holidays.

Employee Share Acquisition Plan 

The ABB Employee Share Acquisition Plan (ESAP) is a share ownership program for employees that offers an opportunity for you to purchase a stake in ABB and invest in our joint future and success. 

ESAP is a voluntary program, providing you with the opportunity to save a portion of your monthly salary over a 12-month period to eventually buy ABB Ltd shares.

Sick Pay 

26 weeks full pay (within a 4 year period -at the discretion of the line manager). After this you can apply to a 3rd party for extended sick with Irish life with you can potentially claim up to 75% of your salary.  

A maximum of three days may be uncertified in any 12-month period.

Employee Referral Scheme

Opportunity to refer your friends in the right direction to apply for an ABB Role and you will receive up to €2,500 for every successful referral. (Subject to our eligibility and exclusion criteria).

Employee Assistance Programme  

Additional support program available free of charge from Workplace Options all ABB employees and their immediate family. Workplace provides practical and confidential support and advice around the clock on a wide range of issues that can affect you, both at work and at home.

ABB Group Ireland Pension Scheme 

Once completed a 6-month service all new employees will be auto enrolled in the Defined Contribution Scheme where they can opt to contribute between 3 and 8% and this contribution will be matched by ABB.
