Starting as a System Analyst Supervisor, Piyanan navigated various departments, contributing to crucial projects like the Year 2000 compliance and multiple SAP implementations. Her adaptability and willingness to learn led her to transition from IT to the challenging role of a factory controller. Piyanan recalls saying, "'Yes, I can do it,'" demonstrating her unwavering commitment to herself and organization.

Piyanan thrived in different roles, and she decided to transition from the IT department to the Controlling Team, initially serving as an assistant CFO for budget preparation and Country Service Controller. Her journey exemplifies the power of believing in oneself and embracing change. "It was a very difficult time for me to go through this challenging period," she says. However, Piyanan's unwavering commitment, 'Yes, I can do it,' allowed her to persevere and thrive in this challenging new environment.

She has since worked across various departments in controlling roles with increasing responsibility for Electrification, Motion, and Robotics businesses. Over her 25-year career at ABB, she has witnessed significant transformations, mirroring her own development and advancement within the company. She currently holds the positions of Regional Asia, Business Line Analytical Controller, and Thailand Local PAMA Division Controller.
